About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and organized, bilingual (English and Spanish) Human Resources Assistant to support our HR department. The ideal candidate will assist in various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for fostering a positive workplace culture.
Roles and Responsibilities

- Create and manage job postings across various platforms, ensuring they are attractive and accurately reflect the role's requirements. Utilize social media, job boards, and industry-specific sites to reach a wider audience.
- Develop criteria for evaluating resumes and applications. Conduct preliminary screenings to shortlist candidates based on qualifications and experience.
- Coordinate with hiring managers and candidates to schedule interviews, ensuring timely communication and a smooth process. Prepare interview guides and provide candidates with necessary information.
- Support new employee onboarding, including preparing orientation materials and conducting initial training sessions.
- Plan and execute various employee engagement initiatives, such as team-building events, recognition programs, and wellness activities. Gather feedback to assess the effectiveness of these programs.
- Support the HR team with special projects and initiatives as needed.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
• Must be bilingual (English and Spanish) to effectively communicate with a diverse workforce.
• Previous experience in an HR role or administrative capacity is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc); other online programs e.g. BusyBusy, Canva, etc.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset.
