WHAT YOU WILL DO
On-Season (April-October)
- Mow lawns, trim hedges, weed, seed, remove debris, and apply fertilizers and pesticides.
- Plant flowers, shrubs, trees; install mulch, sod, and irrigation systems.
- Assist with installation of patios, walkways, and retaining walls
- Operate a variety of landscaping equipment, including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other tools. Properly maintaining and storing equipment
Off-Season (November-March)
- Remove snow and ice from designated roadways and parking lots.
- Operate a variety of snow removal equipment, including shovels, skidsteers, plow trucks. Properly maintaining and storing equipment
All seasons
- Lift heavy objects, dig holes, load and unload trucks and trailers, and clean equipment
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Document work and tasks completed
- Work outdoors, rain, shine, or snow
- Develop new skills and expertise
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
- Reliable transportation.
- Knowledge of turf, perennials, shrubs, evergreens, and trees.
- Ability to lift, pull, and push up to 125 lbs.
- Physical stamina to work in various weather conditions.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
