Responsibilities :
The primary duties of a Junior Project Manager is to focus on seamless operation of Baggage Handling Systems. Their responsibilities can vary significantly not only from one position to another but also from day to day in the same role. On any given day, they may undertake a range of tasks, including :
Maintenance and repairs : Performing routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting malfunctions on equipment.Quality control : Ensuring compliance with quality standards and safety regulations during installation and operation.Data collection and analysis : Monitoring system performance by collecting data, analyzing trends, and generating reports.Technical support : Providing on-site technical assistance to clients and other team members.Project management : Coordinating with project managers to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.Documentation and reporting : Maintaining detailed records of work performed, including progress reports and incident logs.Client communication : Interacting with clients to address concerns, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction.QUALIFICATIONS
Strong technical knowledge in relevant engineering disciplines (mechanical, electrical, civil, etc.)Problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve technical issuesHands-on experience with equipment installation, maintenance, and repairAbility to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction and team collaborationStrong work ethic and ability to work independently in remote locationsEligible to work in the United StatesHigh School Diploma / GED requiredValid driver’s license required (with clean driving record)Aviation Industry experience a plusHigh attention to being organized with attention to detailExcellent communication skillsBilingual in English / Spanish a plusProficient in MS Office Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word as well working in various software applications (ProCore)Proficient in scheduling (P6 experience a plus)Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language, to include documentsPass a background check and drug screenAbility to use electronic devices including IPads / Tablets, Computers, and Mobile DevicesExcellent problem-solving skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, high stress environment while handling multiple tasks simultaneouslyEligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)Ability to work any day / shift, including holidays, within a 24 / 7 operationMust possess the versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work with constantly changing prioritiesMust be able to report to work on a regular, consistent, and timely basis; must be prompt and maintain good attendanceMust possess the ability to be a self-starter, work independently and as a member of various teamsMay be assigned other duties as requiredTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential requirement satisfactorily.
