What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Superintendent position at Construction Recruiters, Inc.?
Seeking a Heavy Civil Superintendent
If you have experience with roads, bridges, piling, tunnels, jetties, cofferdams, culverts, pump stations, wastewater treatment plants etc., we need to talk. Our client, a major international heavy construction and boring firm with a NE subsidiary is building a number of water-related facilities (waste, fresh, sewage, flood, erosion, retention etc.) in the Southern Mass / Northern RI area. (we are also seeking a similar candidate for a lower NH project).
We are seeking 2 Supers and assistant Supers. Ideal candidates are already working in this heavy
Civil arena in the greater Mass area. We could hire either a pure Super or a blend of Super and PM, as most projects are 60 to 75 miles from home office so a lot of management will happen at the on-site office.
Even if you are deliriously happy in your current position, why not kick a tire and give me a call. Maybe your commute is too long, is your boss a buffoon? Perhaps your salary could be better. What about more vacation time? Or freedom to attend your kid’s soccer games / school plays? Are you happy with your current health insurance? What’s the downside in knowing what’s out there, even if a move is not right for you right now? And, most importantly, why not open a dialogue with a professional construction recruiter who is himself, also a construction professional.
We know our client very well and the location and scope of the projects. I can give you a fully confidential briefing on the company and the projects.
- So, whether you are interested in this position, or just want to know what’s going on in the whole heavy civil job market right now
