What are the responsibilities and job description for the Secretary position at Construction Related?
Locally owned company is seeking an outgoing, enthusiastic, self-motivated, reliable individual to work in a full-time, permanent position. Hours are M-F, 8-5. Job consists of typical clerical duties including filing, faxing, copying, scanning, emailing, scheduling, etc, along with light office cleaning. Scheduling outside sales is a SUPER PLUS! This job is very fast-paced and has heavy phone duty. Experience with data entry, computer dbase, Word, coordinating appointments & handling multi-phone lines required. Must be proficient in typing & very detail oriented, be able to follow instructions, have strong phone & customer service skills, be able to work independently & with others. Construction knowledge a plus. Knowledge of Southshore, Northshore & Baton Rouge desirable.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Manage records and information
scheduling quotes & jobs
heavy phone duty
documenting customer interaction
strong typing skills
filing
email / scanning/ faxing / copying
accounts receivable & collections
Maintain work facilities
Provide administrative assistance to management
Perform other office tasks (track & replenish office supplies, custodial duties, etc.)
