Electrical Service Manager

Our client is a well established and respected Electrical Contractor located near Lansing, MI. They are searching for a sharp Service Manager that will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the electrical service division, managing projects, ensuring customer satisfaction, and leading a team of electricians. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of commercial electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead a team of electricians in providing high-quality commercial electrical services.
• Oversee the scheduling, coordination, and execution of electrical projects.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to client specifications.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
• Manage service requests, troubleshooting, and provide technical support when needed.
• Review and approve job estimates, work orders, and invoices.
• Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
• Handle staffing needs, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
• Maintain inventory of tools and materials to ensure timely project completion.

Requirements:

• 5 years of experience in the electrical industry, with at least 3 years in a management or supervisory role.
• Prior field experience
• Proven experience in managing commercial electrical projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• A valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license (preferred).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software tools.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
