SCOPE OF POSITION:

Manages the design, implementation, administration, communication, and ongoing evaluation of the Construction Specialties' (CS) compensation and benefits programs, policies, and procedures. Ensures that compensation and benefits programs support CS' business objectives and meet all legal requirements.

  • Ensures that Total Rewards programs support CS growth strategy, business goals, and talent objectives, while optimizing delivered value.
  • Formulates and implements optimal best-in-class solutions to improve our total rewards offering by conducting competitive analysis and assessing current trends and best practices.
  • Analyzes and monitors the effectiveness of sales incentive programs and support the development of appropriate models that facilitate desired revenue objectives.
  • Provides guidance and assistance for executive compensation and rewards programs, including analysis, design, and administration.
  • Supports and leads North America benefit and retirement plan administration providing research based solutions, promotion, and performance monitoring.
  • Participates in projects or committees to bring subject matter expertise and thought leadership in making recommendations to the leadership team.
  • Develops design elements to ensure programs connect to and support performance management, are compliant, and consistent with business strategy.
  • Responsible for ensuring accurate and consistent job titles, job descriptions, job families, job grades, salary ranges; works with HR team to create and document role progression & career paths.
  • Provides guidance, tools and communication to HR and People Leaders to inform employees of their total rewards packages and ensure offerings meet employees' needs to enhance engagement.
  • Monitors existing compliance regulations and emerging governmental legislation related to benefit programs and labor laws, including ERISA, COBRA, HCRA, ACA, and HIPAA. Ensures completion of regulatory reporting and audits.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE/ EDUCATION: (Minimum Education and/or Experience required)

  • Bachelors degree in Business Management, Human Resource Management, or related field. 5 years of compensation and benefit design, ideally in the manufacturing industry.
  • Relevant certifications, such as CEBS or SHRM CP/SCP or compensation professional credentials preferred.
  • Experience in self-insured and fully insured benefits plans, as well as HSAs and HRAs required.
  • Ability to design compensation and benefit programs which balance employee engagement/needs, cost effectiveness, and legal requirements.
  • Strong working knowledge of benefit laws and government regulations including, ERISA, HIPAA, FMLA, COBRA, and ACA.

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus pay

Salary : $41,400 - $52,400
