POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for the accurate and timely submission of all Day Services billing using Precision Care. Coordinate and Organize In home day services billing in IRA’s and ICF’s
POSITION DUTIES:
1. Collects raw attendance data daily from team rooms and collates all onto master forms, returns sheets daily.
2. Enters all full day/half day billable units into electronic system.
3. Registers new consumers into system.
4. Keeps ongoing YTD totals.
5. Direct liaison with Constructive partnerships Medicaid billing personnel.
6. Direct liaison with offices at OPWDD for program enrollments /removal.
7. Prepares monthly program revenue statistics.
8. Tracks and maintains all records pertaining to billing.
9. Track Medicaid billing roster for accuracy.
10. Coordinate and organize in home day services billing
11. Train staff across all boroughs on in home day services billing
12. Coordinate with book keepers / Administrators at day programs to implement and monitor in home day services.
13. Performs all other duties, as assigned.
B. REQUIREMENTS:
1. Knowledge of computerized billing systems and accepted bookkeeping procedures.
2. Knowledge of OPWDD Choices application.
3. Knowledge of Fund EZ.
4. Associate Degree/minimum two years related experience.
5. Proficient in data entry skills.
6. Good communication skills.
7. Performs all job responsibilities in full compliance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures. Adheres to the agency’s corporate compliance program, including the code of business conduct, the NYS and federal false claims acts, whistleblower protections and mandatory reporting. Completes corporate compliance training at least annually. Fully cooperates in all corporate compliance investigations and reviews.
