- Secure home renovation projects through signed contracts and customer deposits, ensuring clear understanding and documentation of homeowner expectations.
- Identify and recommend additional services or products to enhance client renovation experiences.
- Engage with potential clients to discuss project requirements, review blueprints, and answer related questions.
- Maintain consistent communication with clients to ensure adherence to guidelines and a positive experience.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential challenges and propose mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with vendors to gather accurate and competitive pricing for materials and services.
- Prepare comprehensive cost estimates that account for labor, materials, equipment, and vendor costs.
- Document all estimates, change orders, and communications for audit and reference purposes.
- Actively engage clients to address any concerns and provide detailed explanations of estimates to foster trust.
- Stay informed of regulations and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local guidelines.
- Develop knowledge of organizational goals and strategies, embodying ethical standards and professionalism.
- Build enduring relationships with clients, vendors, and team members.
- Adhere to company policies, successfully completing all necessary training and certifications.
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred.
- Certification as a Professional Estimator (CPE) or similar credentials preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in construction estimation.
- At least 2 years' experience in sales, negotiation, and consultation.
- A minimum of 2 years' customer service experience in face-to-face settings.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and labor costs.
- Adept at reading and understanding blueprints.
- Experience with construction software programs preferred.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and listening abilities.
