is recruiting
1 accountant and consular assistant
Permanent contract, starting on February 1 st 2025
40 hours/week
Your duties:
Accounting
Record accounting transactions (revenue, expenditure, transfers)
Ensure the regularity and accuracy of the accounting
Budget monitoring
Analyze the gaps between the forecast budget and actual expenditure/revenue
Cash management
Control financial flows and available credits
Plan payments and revenues
Control and compliance
Ensure compliance with the directives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of
Luxembourg
Prepare annual statements and financial reports
Archiving and administrative management
Ensure the classification and digital archiving of accounting documents in accordance
with regulations of Luxembourg
Maintain complete and accessible documentation for the various administrative
services
Consular Affairs
Occasional support at the consular section
Backoffice work for visa, passports and ID-card applications

Your qualification / requirements
You have a secondary school diploma or equivalent
You are complete fluent in English and French (spoken and written)
Proven experience or studies in financial planning and reporting and budgets and
accounting
Strong computer skills (MS Office)
Interpersonal communication skills
Previous work experience within a similar position will be considered as an advantage
Sense of initiative, organization, and the ability to work independently

Annual salary of 65.000 to 80.000 USD depending on your experience and
qualifications

Possible bi-annual salary increases up to 2,5 % based on employee performance
25 days of vacation per year
End of the year bonus equivalent to one month’s salary
