Senior Analyst, Project Finance (Utility Scale IPP)
Position Overview:
I'm seeking a Senior Analyst for our Project Finance team, who is interested in supporting utility-scale renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, and energy storage. This role involves financial modeling, due diligence, and deal execution across M&A and project finance transactions. The ideal candidate will have experience in project finance, M&A, in energy transition. My client doesn't have a huge team- so they can offer unrivaled career growth & exposure to junior candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support financial modeling and structuring for utility-scale renewable energy projects (solar, wind, storage).
- Assist in M&A transactions, including financial due diligence and valuations.
- Monitor energy market trends, policy changes, and regulatory developments.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams (legal, technical, commercial) to execute deals.
- Prepare materials for investment committees and stakeholders.
- Identify and manage risks associated with project finance and M&A transactions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 2-5 years of experience in project finance, M&A, or investment banking, with a focus on renewable energy (solar, wind, storage).
- Strong financial modeling, analytical, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with renewable energy markets, incentives, and regulations.
Salary : $130,000 - $155,000
