Consulting Services Group (CSG) is seeking a DevSecOps Specialist who is responsible for integrating security practices into the DevOps process, ensuring the development and deployment of secure software applications. This role involves collaborating with development, operations, and security personnel to include assuming these roles directly, to automate security controls, enhance security posture of software platforms, and ensure appropriate compliance with industry standards. This individual will be responsible for assisting and standing in for PhysOps, maintaining knowledge and appropriate training to further assist with feedback from real-world usage of the software platform.
Responsibilities :
- Scrum and Agile Integration :
Work closely with development teams during sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily stand-ups.
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Conduct security testing (e.g., vulnerability assessments, penetration testing).
Evaluate system performance under various conditions (load, stress, scalability).
Validate software changes before customer testing.
Maintain detailed test documentation, checklists, and plans for others to replicate.
Keep the wiki documentation up to date, providing context and usage instructions.
Assist with creating and maintaining training materials to keep relevant to the software platform.
Work with associated teams to maintain skillset, provide necessary fill-ins and maintain associations where applicable.
