Job Overview: The Learning Technologist plays a critical role in the technical development, implementation, integration, and delivery of multimedia and learning solutions within organizational systems and environments. This position requires specialized expertise in eLearning tools, Learning Management System (LMS) advancements, and multimedia development. In collaboration with Instructional Designers, Content Managers, System Administrators, and Program Managers, this role ensures the effective design and technical execution of systems and solutions that support the delivery of multimodal, just-in-time learning in alignment with the organization's strategic goals and priorities.
Key Responsibilities:

Support Enterprise-Wide Learning Initiatives: Contribute to training initiatives by ensuring alignment with strategic business goals and identifying opportunities for innovation.

Project Leadership: Lead and contribute to projects aimed at enhancing systems, creating eLearning modules, and developing multimedia content including graphics, animations, and videos.

System Integration & LMS/LXP Optimization: Oversee the integration of technology to build a robust just-in-time training ecosystem, particularly through LMS and LXP platforms, ensuring seamless learner experiences.

Promote Innovative Learning Modalities: Champion the adoption and deployment of effective, technology-driven training solutions across various formats (e.g., multimedia-based tools, emerging technologies), while providing ongoing learner support and staff training/consultations.

Ensure Accessibility: Advocate for accessible design and the appropriate use of technology in all learning delivery methods.

Risk Identification & Mitigation: Assess technical, process, and external risks associated with training implementations and develop proactive solutions to mitigate them.

Stakeholder & Vendor Relations: Cultivate strong relationships with key internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure high-quality service and address any strategic or operational technical issues that could impact training delivery.

Compliance & Brand Alignment: Ensure compliance with organizational regulations, policies, and relevant accreditation standards. Maintain adherence to corporate identity and brand guidelines while creating visually diverse assets that align with overall branding.

Innovative Approach to Projects: Approach project work with creativity and an openness to iterative processes and experimentation to continuously improve learning solutions.
Additional Responsibilities:

Recommend technology solutions and support strategies to address evolving learning needs.

Lead the development, budgeting, and project management of training programs and initiatives.

Manage external vendor relationships, ensuring quality outcomes and timely delivery.
Education & Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a relevant field such as Learning Technology, Adult Learning, Graphic Design, Education, Communications, or similar.

Proven experience in administering and building integrations for Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Learning Experience Platforms (LXP).

Expertise in video editing, motion graphics, and animation using tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Articulate 360, Camtasia, Canva, Vyond, or similar platforms.

Knowledge of adult learning principles and the application of training delivery and capability development in a business context.

Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and lead in a hybrid work environment.

Outcome-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities and the ability to thrive in ambiguous, evolving business and learning environments.

Collaborative, resourceful, and well-organized, with excellent relationship-building skills.
Working Conditions:
