ACE and/or Apigee API/Web Services Developer
Join our client in Salt Lake City, UT on a long-term contract.
- Develop APIs to meet customer data needs.
- Work with a cross-functional agile SCRUM team to deliver customer master data management capabilities.
- Collaborate closely with the API Solutions Architect and ACE development and support staff.
- Implement procedures for API usage, including Swagger, WSDL, and XSD.
- Automate build pipelines and deployments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop APIs to provide customer data to the organization.
- Participate in agile SCRUM teams to deliver customer master data management solutions.
- Contribute to the success of the system by working closely with the API Solutions Architect and ACE development and support staff.
- Ensure API security policies, including OAuth, JWT, JWE, and HMAC, are implemented correctly.
- Set up and automate build pipelines and deployments for seamless integration.
Requirements:
- Experience in developing APIs/webservices on ESB and API management platforms, preferably IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) and Apigee Edge.
- Working knowledge of REST, JSON, SOAP, XML, XSLT, API security policies, and relational databases.
- Preference given to candidates with experience in both ACE and Apigee, but one or the other is acceptable.
