**Long-term Contract Opportunity**
ConsultNet has partnered with a client seeking an experienced API and ESB Specialist for a long-term contract opportunity.
The successful candidate will work on designing, developing, and implementing APIs to meet organizational needs for customer data, working closely with API Solutions Architects and development staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing APIs using IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) and Apigee Edge platforms
- Collaborating with API Solutions Architects and ACE development staff to ensure successful implementation
- Implementing API security policies, including OAuth, JWT, JWE, and HMAC
- Automating build pipelines and deployments
- Ensuring seamless integration with existing systems
Requirements:
- Experience with API development on ESB and API management platforms
- Working knowledge of REST, JSON, SOAP, XML, XSLT, and relational databases
- Experience with both ACE and Apigee is preferred but one or the other is acceptable
