Description:
Our client has an immediate need for an IT Monitoring & Automation Specialist, who will be responsible for managing and optimizing IT infrastructure, ensuring system reliability, and providing technical support for incident management
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is a plus
- 6 years of relevant experience in a similar role
- BigPanda (event correlation and automation)
- Dynatrace (performance monitoring and observability)
- Evolven (configuration management and change tracking)
- LogScale (log analysis and insights)
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Jira (issue tracking and project management)
- Visio (creating network or system architecture diagrams)
- Ansible (automation and configuration management)
Responsibilities:
- Deconstruct logical diagrams
- Research issues that appear to be the result of inefficient code, data use, and connectivity between applications
- Manual work to support the health of the environment
- Recommend areas where advanced monitoring can be applied
- Leverage BigPanda for event correlation and incident management across multiple systems
- Manage and optimize performance monitoring with Dynatrace for full-stack observability
- Use Evolven for configuration management and change tracking across the infrastructure
- Analyze log data and provide insights using LogScale for better decision-making and troubleshooting
- Automate tasks and workflows to improve operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the proper deployment and configuration of monitoring solutions
- Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and ensure system uptime
- Create and maintain documentation related to monitoring, automation, and incident response
