Description:
Our client has an immediate need for a Senior Business Systems Analyst, who will collaborate with our stakeholders gathering requirements and rules to create user stories for our Agile development/testing cycles.
- Bachelor's Degree is a plus
- Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certification a plus
- 5 years of experience
- Ability to support stakeholder User Acceptance Testing
- Experience in data mapping experience for adding new tables/fields to systems or for passing data from one system to another
- 4-6 years of experience in JIRA, Confluence and MS Office
- Strong Agile experience complete with user story creation
- Strong understanding the development, testing, and release cycle
- Experience with Actimize is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Core BSA responsibilities of handling requirements
- Responsible for working with Product Owners and key stakeholders to enhance fraud detection functionality by the creation of user stories.
- Development, testing and implementation of this functionality will use these stories and follow Agile methodology.
- Data mapping exercises are important parts of these user stories and help the developer write their code and testers complete and execute their test scripts.
- Gather requirements from business units and translate those to programmers and developers.
- Confer with clients regarding the nature of the information processing or computation needs.
- Prepare cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation.
- Interview or survey workers, observe job performance or perform the job to determine what information is processed and how it is processed.
- Coordinate and link the computer systems within an organization to increase compatibility and so information can be shared.
- Consult with management to ensure agreement on system principles.
- Expand or modify system to serve new purposes or improve work flow.
- Software release-help coordinate and monitor requests and lead times to help with production
- Help with agile processes, some scrum master demands on this rol e but the position does not require a hard emphasis on scrum master skills
- Daily and weekly meetings
