Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
- Lead and manage the IT infrastructure teams, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management.
- Responsible for the Systems, Networking, DevOps, QA Automation Teams.
- Develop and implement IT infrastructure strategies to support the Consumer Cellular’s business objectives.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to align infrastructure initiatives with business needs.
- Assist with establishing and maintaining relationships with external vendors, contractors, and service providers.
- Oversee budget planning, forecasting, and cost management for the systems, networking, and cloud infrastructure.
- Work closely and collaboratively with the IT Operations Director and teams.
- Infrastructure Management:
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of Consumer Cellular’s IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage systems, and cloud environments.
- Ensure the performance, reliability, and scalability of infrastructure systems to meet current and future business demands.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of network, servers, databases, and storage systems.
- Maintain and enhance disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure minimal downtime and data integrity.
- Expand and enhance adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC) practices across all Infrastructure Teams.
- Security & Compliance:
- Ensure the security of the IT infrastructure by implementing industry best practices, firewalls, encryption, and other security measures.
- Monitor and address security vulnerabilities, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for infrastructure-related security risks.
- Cloud & Virtualization:
- Oversee the deployment, migration, and management of cloud infrastructure and services (e.g., AEM, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement new technologies for cloud computing and virtualization to improve efficiency, scalability, and performance.
- Project Management & Implementation:
- Plan and execute infrastructure projects and tasks; ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Coordinate with project managers to ensure seamless integration and implementation of infrastructure upgrades or new systems.
- Manage lifecycle management of IT infrastructure hardware and software, including upgrades and end-of-life processes.
- Incident & Problem Management:
- Lead the 2nd/3rd tier troubleshooting and resolution of critical infrastructure issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Establish and maintain incident management protocols, ensuring quick response to service outages or security incidents.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, and recommend innovations that can improve infrastructure efficiency or performance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in IT infrastructure to ensure high availability, optimal performance, and cost-effectiveness.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CISSP) is a plus.
- 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, including 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale infrastructure, including servers, storage, networks, cloud platforms, and enterprise systems.
- Strong experience with IT security, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
- Hands-on experience with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, AEM, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).
- Expertise in managing IT systems and infrastructure, including virtualization, networking, and data storage.
- Strong understanding of security principles, risk management, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with a focus on results and meeting deadlines.
- Ability to analyze and solve complex technical problems while considering business objectives.
- Certifications such as PMP, CISSP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect.
- Experience with enterprise-level systems, including ERP, CRM, and collaboration tools.
- Knowledge of automation and scripting tools to improve infrastructure efficiency.
- This position will be a hybrid model, requiring on-site presence 2-3 days a week, and travel to other locations a quarterly basis.
- The position may require occasional travel for vendor meetings, system installations, or corporate events.

- Minimum Salary: $165,900.00
- Maximum Salary: $248,850.00
