What are the responsibilities and job description for the Back Up Caregiver position at Consumer Direct Care Network?
JOB TITLE: Backup/On call Caregiver
LOCATION: Onalaska, Wi. (in-home)
We are looking for a caring Back-Up Caregiver who is willing to jump in and help out; ensuring this member’s daily routines and well being remains consistent.
WAGE:
- $19/hr.
SCHEDULE:
- Looking for someone who could be available for coverage during the following hours if/when primary caregivers are unavailable:
o Sunday-Saturday; 7a.m.-9a.m
o Sunday-Saturday; 12p.m.-1p.m.
o Sunday-Saturday; 5p.m.-7:30a.m.
TASKS:
- Assist with ADLs to include bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, medications, mobility, and transfers.
- Comfortable assisting with adaptive equipment (ie. wheelchair)
- Comfortable with pivot transfers
- Comfortable assisting with enemas when needed
QUALIFCATIONS:
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Must be at least 18 years of age at the start of employment.
- Must pass background check.
*If hired, Consumer Direct Care Network (CDCN) will not be your legal employer on record. If hired by a Member or their Managing Party, your legal employer on record would be the Member. CDCN’s role is to assist the Member or Managing Party in recruiting a Direct Care Worker. The Member or Managing Party has the sole authority to hire or dismiss any potential Direct Care Worker.
