What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver/Personal Assistant position at Consumer Direct Care Network?
Job Title: Caregiver
Job Location: Brown Deer, Wi. (in-home)
Pay:
- $20.00/hourly
Schedule:
Member is authorized 24/7 in home care. We are looking to cover the following shifts:
- Saturday 8am-1pm, Sunday 9am-2pm
- Saturday 11pm-7am, Sunday 11pm-7am
Tasks:
- Care is to be provided in member’s home.
- Assist with transfers (Hoyer Lift).
- Assist with feedings (G Tube, suctioning).
- Assist with bathing and getting dressed.
- Assist with toileting, when needed.
- Assist with medications, when needed.
- Above all, provide safety and companionship.
Qualifications:
- Valid Driver's License -or- reliable transportation to and from shifts.
- Prior experience working with feeding tubes and Hoyer lifts required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age at the start of employment.
- Must pass background check.
*If hired, Consumer Direct Care Network (CDCN) will not be your legal employer on record. If hired by a Member or their Managing Party, your legal employer on record would be the Member. CDCN’s role is to assist the Member or Managing Party in recruiting a Direct Care Worker. The Member or Managing Party has the sole authority to hire or dismiss any potential Direct Care Worker.
