What are the responsibilities and job description for the EH - Caregiver Needed - Adult In-Home Care position at Consumer Direct Care Network?
We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced caregiver to provide support and companionship. to a woman in her home. The ideal candidate would have some medical experience, be comfortable performing personal cares, assisting with activities of daily living, and possess a caring attitude. Applicants must be comfortable working as part of a team, as there will be 2-3 caregivers rotating shifts to provide coverage. You will providing support and companionship for someone wanting to remain in the comfort of their home. Pay: $18.00/Hour
Location: Lake Nebagamon, WI - In the client's home
Schedule: 30 hours/week available. Exact schedule TBD between client & provider. Ideally, provider would be available/interested in the following:
- Monday - Friday: 1-2 hours between 3:00pm-8:00pm
- Saturday & Sunday: 8:00am-2:00pm, and again for 1-2 hours in the evenings between 3:00pm-8:00pm
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Personal Care Assistance: Assist with bathing, toileting, dressing, and grooming
- Meal Preparation: Prepare meals according to the client's dietary needs and preferences.
- Housekeeping: Light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining the living area
- Mobility Support: Assist with manual transfers while we wait for her physical equipment to come in
- Companionship: Provide companionship and emotional support to the client.
- Potentially solo grocery shopping trips (20 minute drive)

Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Willing to undergo a caregiver background check upon hire
- Strong communication skills
*Must be able to successfully pass a background check before being hired. If hired, Consumer Direct Care Network (CDCN) will not be your legal employer on record. If hired by a Member or their Managing Party, your legal employer on record would be the Member. CDCN’s role is to assist the Member or Managing Party in recruiting a Direct Care Worker. The Member or Managing Party has the sole authority to hire or dismiss any potential Direct Care Worker.
