JOB SUMMARY
The FEA department ensures seamless onboarding, offboarding, and ongoing management of FEA employers. When a client under the FEA model is approved for services and connects with their program or service coordinator or support broker, the FEA coordinator processes their completed packet. This includes setting up FEINs, creating unemployment and withholding accounts, and filing powers of attorney for assigned FEA employers. Upon service termination, the FEA coordinator handles the revocation of all associated accounts and powers of attorney.
JOB DUTIES
- Oversee FEA employer processing to ensure timely and accurate onboarding and offboarding
- Ensure FEINs are established and terminated for assigned FEA employers
- Establish and maintain unemployment and withholding accounts for FEA employers
- File and revoke powers of attorney as needed for assigned FEA employers
- Collaborate with taxing agencies, local offices, and internal departments to resolve employer-related issues
- Support client advocacy and service delivery
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills
- Oversee compliance with applicable legal requirements, standards, policies, and procedures
- Identify and implement process improvements for department efficiency
- Collaborate with stakeholders to address escalated complaints and resolve service issues
- Recruit, hire, train, and supervise department employees
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients
- Participate in and assign professional development and training activities
- Manage advanced reporting and special projects
- Promote a positive and cohesive work environment
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- * 2-5 years previous office experience preferred
- Combination of education and experience
- 2 years leadership experience preferred
- Proficiency in computer systems and workflow coordination.
- Ability to work flexible and/or extended hours, if needed, to meet the job requirements
- Reliable internet service for hybrid or remote work, if applicable
The incumbent typically works in an office environment and uses a computer, telephone and other office equipment as needed to perform duties. The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office. Incumbent may encounter frequent interruptions throughout the workday. The employee is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear; frequently required to use repetitive hand motion, handle or feel, and to stand, walk, reach, bend or lift up to 20 pounds.
