RESPITE PROVIDER NEEDED - Eau Claire WI
Looking for an active individual who wants to hang out with a school age kid and provide confident but fun respite care! Kiddo loves Spider Man and playing with Hot Wheels!
- Childcare and companionship for an energetic kid!
- Respite care to hang out and engage in interactive activities.
- Supervision and ability to redirect back to appropriate location
- Mindfulness of behaviors and ability to redirect aggressive behaviors
- Mentorship is a big plus to assist our member with daily living skills!
Someone who can interact with our member with these types of activities would be an ideal person for the position!
PAY:
$14.13/hour
Schedule:
UP TO 15 HOURS - FLEXIBLE days/times to fit your schedule!!
- Mentorship - being able to redirect to appropriate activities and behaviors
- Companionship - can interact on child's level and engage in their hobbies such as hot wheels, cars, outside activities, trampoline exercise ect.
- Supervision - be able to confidentially supervise child in public and redirect in a safe and appropriate manner - loud voices can be triggering
- Hang out with a fun kiddo - loves to play with hot wheels! How fun!
- Be Reliable and Responsive - consistency is so important to the success of this child's routine and day to day life
- Very flexible schedule!
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Criminal/Caregiver background check
- Compassionate individual with childcare experience preferred
- Driver's License - not required but preferred
- Reliable transportation to and from work

CDCN’s role is to assist the Member or Managing Party in recruiting a Direct Care Worker. The Member or Managing Party has the sole authority to hire or dismiss any potential Direct Care Worker.
