Job Summary:
We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Sibling Respite Provider to offer temporary relief to a family of two children with special needs. The role involves supporting the children with fun activities, assisting with daily living tasks, and providing emotional support, allowing caregivers to take a break.
Wage/Hours:
$17.70/Hour
Up to 10 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and facilitate engaging, age-appropriate activities
- Assist with daily living tasks like eating, dressing, and bathing
- Ensure safety and monitor the child at all times
- Offer emotional support and build trust with the child
- Communicate effectively with caregivers
Qualifications:
- Previous experience with children (preferred)
- Strong interpersonal skills and patience
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to follow care plans and respond calmly in emergencies
- Authorized to work in the U.S., with reliable transportation
Desired Traits:
- Enthusiastic and creative, with a passion for working with children
- Experience with children who have special needs (preferred)
- Responsible and detail-oriented
