For over 20 years, we have been bringing virtual worlds into everyone's home with just a few clicks. Our mission is to enable experts and beginners alike to play their favourite games together with their friends. From Ark and Minecraft to Battlefield and CS:GO, we provide a wide variety of around 100 different multiplayer games from all genres.
As our new Team Lead Software Engineering, you will be responsible for the design process and implementation of our platform as well as the analysis of requirements and the creation of the technical conception in collaboration with your team.
In this position, you will directly shape the future of GPORTAL and not only take the implementation of frontend and backend modules into your capable hands, but also develop and improve existing functions of our platform.
We work at a certain scale with several thousand hardware machines across the globe in different data centres, so what might be overengineered somewhere else is often appreciated here.
In addition, we will give you a lot of creative freedom as well as the opportunity to develop professionally, e.g. by familiarising yourself with new technologies. Of course, we will also support you with intensive training by your colleagues and want to advance the design of the coolest and most promising platform for game server management together with you.

- a great personality
- good communication skills in english
- at least a five years of experience in software development
- some experience as lead of an engineering team
- a drive to shape and improve how engineering teams work
- solid knowledge of Python
- basic knowledge of asynchronous programming
- a willingness to learn new technologies
- a preference for independent and responsible work
