For over 50 years, Marine Repair Services-Container Maintenance Corporation has provided an array of customer programs including depot services, equipment sales, trucking, refrigerated services, and maintenance and repair with the nation’s largest M&R footprint. MRS-CMC is heavily invested in both Marine and Rail sectors. With a focus on family values, safety and customer service, MRS-CMC currently has depots in 12 cities throughout the Southeast and Gulf regions and over 40 Maintenance and Repair sites throughout the Northeast, Southeast, Southern and Gulf regions.

Due to growth and expansion, our company is seeking a Full-Time Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, capable of multitasking, and eager to learn. This role involves writing estimates, managing the flow of chassis through the shop, and ensuring quality control throughout the repair process. Training on specific estimating criteria will be provided on-site.

Job Responsibilities:

· Write accurate repair estimates and oversee the approval process.

· Manage the movement of intermodal chassis within the facility.

· Inspect chassis for deficiencies and document findings. (Training provided)

· Ensure all repairs meet or exceed customer expectations.

· Address quality and production issues, recommending solutions as needed.

· Accept or reject finished products and communicate results to the production team and management.

· Maintain and complete Quality Control Reports.

· Communicate with customers regarding estimates, inspections, and approvals.

· Work outdoors in various weather conditions.

· Additional responsibilities as needed by management

Job Requirements:

· Valid driver’s license (required).

· Basic computer skills (required).

· Mechanical knowledge (preferred but not required).

· Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

· Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent communication skills and ability to work with a diverse team.

· Willingness to learn and grow within the company (on-the-job training provided).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
