As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of our team responsible for ensuring the continuous operation of our manufacturing equipment. Your responsibilities include providing technical expertise to troubleshoot, repair, and install all plant equipment, as well as accountable for Total Predictive Maintenance (TPM) process. You will also educate, direct, and support employees in reference to TPM and equipment repair compliance and maintain maintenance budget.
About the Role:
In this position, you will read and interpret blueprints for repair and installation of equipment, perform welding, burning, brazing, and soldering as required to maintain plant equipment, and identify cost-effective solutions for replacing obsolete components. You will also adjust repairs or replace parts, assemblies, and machine equipment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
We require a High School Diploma or GED, 2 years of manufacturing experience with prior maintenance experience preferred. A 2-year associates degree or equivalent certifications in a related field are also preferred. You must have excellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills, with a hands-on approach to job tasks, including seeking additional information when necessary. Independent thinking and the ability to execute job tasks with limited supervision are also essential. We also look for good organizational skills, experience with manufacturing equipment, and PLC experience preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are also required, along with the ability to read and understand blueprints. Good root cause problem-solving skills and electrical experience strongly preferred.
