Job Title: Jira/Confluence Technical Resource

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Jira/Confluence Technical Resource for a contract-to-hire position. This role involves researching and resolving technical issues related to Jira and Confluence, implementing automation requests, and ensuring metrics capture alignment with defined standards. The position is based in Newark, NJ, with a hybrid work model allowing 1-2 days per week onsite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Issue Resolution: Research and resolve reported technical issues related to Jira and Confluence.
- Automation Implementation: Research and implement automation requests to streamline processes and workflows.
- Metrics Alignment: Ensure that required defined metrics can be captured by the implemented design.
- Ensure alignment to corporate DEV OPS standards
Technical Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of Jira and Confluence.
- Familiarity with Jenkins, BitBucket, Splunk, Python, Webhooks, REST API.
- Ensure alignment to corporate DEV OPS standards
Analytical Ability:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to apply structure to loosely defined complex problems.
Scripting:
- Proficiency in scripting to enhance automation and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in resolving technical issues in Jira and Confluence.
- Previous exposure to automation requests and implementation.
- Strong scripting skills with experience in Jenkins, BitBucket, Splunk, Python, Webhooks, and REST API.
- Analytical mindset with the capability to tackle complex problems.
