Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a detail oriented Collateral Specialist to join our client for a temporary opportunity in Fishers, IN! As the Collateral Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring collateral files are properly stored and transferred in compliance with relevant guidelines, working with document custodians, counsel, and in-house servicing. This role offers $19.00/hour!
Responsibilities of the Collateral Specialist Include:
- Receive, sort, file, and ship collateral; ensure safekeeping of original loan documents.
- Verify and audit collateral documents; ensure accurate data in tracking systems.
- Submit requests for document copies and originals within 2 business days.
- Generate file manifests upon receipt and release; maintain organized filing.
- Perform inventory checks, gather documents for transfers/sales, and scan/upload to EDMS.
Requirements of the Collateral Specialist:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1 year of office experience in a metrics-driven environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Scanning experience highly preferred
- Ability to lift and move boxes of files (up to 25 lbs) daily
