Job Title: Junior Talent Acquisition Specialist
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our client and play a vital role in supporting talent acquisition operations. This onsite, temporary-to-hire position, based near Cherry Hill, NJ, focuses on coordinating recruitment activities, supporting the onboarding process, and assisting the TA team with administrative tasks.
Compensation:
- $22 – $25/hour
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, normal business hours
Key Responsibilities of the Junior Talent Acquisition Specialist:
- Assist with full-cycle recruitment efforts including job postings, candidate screenings, and interview coordination
- Manage applicant tracking systems and ensure accurate and up-to-date candidate records
- Support hiring managers and recruiters with scheduling interviews and communicating with candidates
- Participate in onboarding tasks such as preparing offer letters and collecting new hire paperwork
- Help organize career fairs, recruiting events, and other talent acquisition initiatives
- Ensure compliance with internal processes and applicable employment laws
- Contribute to special projects and process improvement efforts within the TA team
Qualifications and Skills for the Junior Talent Acquisition Specialist:
- 1–2 years of experience in a recruiting or HR support role
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
