About the Role
At Contemporary Tiny Homes, we’re passionate about helping customers find the perfect ADU that fits their unique needs. We’re seeking a Sales Representative who is skilled at both building lasting relationships and driving sales through inbound and outbound calls. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a consultative sales environment, is highly organized and proactive in following up with leads, and enjoys guiding customers through the buying journey.
As an Inside Sales Representative at Contemporary Tiny Homes, you’ll be the first line of contact for leads who are interested in our ADUs, playing a crucial role in shaping the top-of-the-funnel customer experience. Your overarching goal will be to convert each lead into a hot, fully qualified lead who is eager to receive a home visit from one of our Outside Sales Representatives and contract us to build an ADU on their property. This position requires a candidate with a warm personality, outstanding verbal and written communication skills with a knack for quickly building rapport and trust with our customers.
- Successful sales experience is a must. If the sales experience is in the home services industry, even better.
- General construction or real estate knowledge is a big plus.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for potential clients, responding to inbound inquiries and leads with professionalism and enthusiasm.
- Engage in active listening with callers, confirming or clarifying information, understanding their needs, motivation and concerns, gathering all relevant and necessary data, and advancing them through our sales pipeline.
- Conduct outbound calls to nurture relationships with past leads, follow up on inquiries, and engage new prospects.
- Guide customers through the sales process, providing detailed product knowledge and insights.
- Build relationships with customers, identifying their needs and recommending the best tiny home solutions.
- Schedule and conduct virtual consultations to present product options and address customer concerns.
- Work closely with the outside sales team to ensure a seamless handoff of high-potential leads, maximizing sales opportunities and achieving sales objectives.
- Track and manage all customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline updates using our CRM.
- Generate action items to the appropriate internal teams or to the sales team so we are responsive to our customers’ needs.
- Drive customer satisfaction by providing timely and accurate responses to inquiries with a positive, customer-first attitude.
- Advocate for customers’ needs and provide solutions that enhance their experience.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly KPI targets by effectively managing time and sales strategies.
- Provide feedback on the effectiveness of our customer engagement and sales pitches and scripts, and suggest improvements.
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven track record in inside sales or customer engagement roles, ideally in construction, real estate, or home improvement.
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with potential customers via phone, email, social media and live chat, building rapport and trust quickly and creating an emotional connection.
- Goal-oriented and self-motivated to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Experience using CRM systems to track leads and manage customer relationships is a plus.
- A consultative sales approach with the ability to listen to the customer’s needs and recommend appropriate solutions that help the customer while maximizing business for the company.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with great independence.
Requirements:
- 1 years of successful experience in sales or in customer services.
- Experience in the construction, home improvement, or real estate sectors is preferred.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year (commission with weekly draw)
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9 am through 5 pm
