Job Description:

As a Lead Technician at Content Recovery Specialists (CRS), you will play a key role in managing the overall performance of the pack-out team – from prepping the truck for the day’s assignment, to performing the pack-out and pack-back services while on-site at a client’s location, to the proper recording of the day’s activity upon return to the facility. The Lead Technician will act as the subject matter expert for all of the physical and systematic processes used during pack-outs and pack-backs and guide the team to a successful daily outcome.

Key Responsibilities:

· Ensure all contents are packed out, transported, cleaned, stored, and packed back in accordance with internal processes and industry standards.

· Coordinate with leadership on the daily staffing and work planning, expectations, and jointly resolve any challenges that could hinder a successful execution.

· Make sure that OSHA and internal safety protocols and guidelines are always followed while driving, on all job sites, and at the CRS facility. Be the Team Safety champion and motivate all team members to actively embrace the CRS safety protocols.

· Maintain all required documentation and detailed inventory reports (systematically and manually, as needed) for all content recovery jobs. Perform end-of-day quality checks of all documentation and reports for accurate invoicing purposes.

· Train and mentor team members on operational and system requirements that align with our quality standards and defined processes.

· Ensure timely completion of restoration projects while maintaining quality, efficiency, and accuracy.

· Monitor and manage the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment and proactively communicate reorder points and any equipment issues to leadership.

· Attend client walk-throughs as needed and professionally represent CRS when meeting with adjusters, homeowners, restoration companies, and others.

· Travel is required and is primarily local to the CRS Tigard, OR facility (home base). Some jobs may be up to 75-100 miles away. Candidate is required to start the work day at the Tigard facility.

Desired Qualifications:

· Experience working in restoration environments that have been damaged by fire / water / mold / other intrusions.

· Minimum 2 years of experience leading a Content Recovery team in the restoration industry.

· Proven ability to schedule and then manage a team of 3-5 employees to successfully complete the daily workload at the job site (pack-out / pack-back) or in-house (cleaning / storage).

· Ability to lift 25 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance

· Excellent organizational and time-management skills with an ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Lean training is a plus.

· Solid communication, leadership abilities, and basic math skills are required.

· Experience using Microsoft Office (365), Assured Packout, Xactimate, Symbility and related software is a plus.

· Flexibility to work overtime and weekends, as necessary.

· Bilingual Spanish-English is a plus.

· A clean driving record, current state-issued driver's license and reliable transportation is required. A CDL and or experience driving box trucks is required.

· Documentation to legally work in the United States is required.

· Candidate must be able to pass a background check and drug screening

· A clean cut, professional appearance and positive attitude are required at all times. This position is critical to CRS’ reputation and success in the Portland metro area market.

· IICRC certifications are preferred
