DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review powder and butter daily inventories.
- Coordinate with Warehouse Manager on daily operation/plan to ensure 100% service to customers.
- Oversees Warehouse Operators and Shipping Operators.
- Ensure proper staging of loads
- Ensure a safe and clean working environment for all warehouse employees.
- Responsible for the proper maintenance of all warehouse moving equipment, dock doors, and warehouse building.
- Oversee all daily warehousing and shipping requirements in compliance with the company policies and procedures.
- Ensures that all procedures are followed to maintain product safety for all customers.
- Complies and keeps all administrative requirements current; inspections, consumer/customer complaints, service failures, safety, and food safety.
- Participates in plant meetings/programs.
- Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
- With the approval from Warehouse Manager, enforce all company policies including working rules.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Warehouse Manager.
- Back up for the Warehouse Manager.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for supervising and instructing Warehouse Operators, and Butter Warehouse Operators.
- Must have the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions given in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Must have the ability to discern when issues may require input from levels of authority within the corporation.
- Must work in a safe and efficient manner and follow all safety procedures including the use of safety equipment.
- High School level verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computational skills required. Simple math reasoning required.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- A High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- Must possess or be able to acquire a forklift operator license.
