The Compounder is responsible for staging, weighing, adding and mixing raw materials as directed by assigned batching instructions to produce a wide variety of products. This person should be a determined self-starter who works well in a team environment as well as on their own. Adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices, FDA regulations and safety protocols is a must.
- You will follow a "recipe" of all materials for each product you blend.
- At times you will be required to manually add ingredients from a platform, so there are some minimal heights involved.
- Sometimes the mixing process gets a little messy so you'll need to be okay with getting your hands dirty and cleaning up when you are done, uniforms are provided.
- Monitors USP water system and performs scheduled sanitation.
- Monitors availability of raw materials to accommodate scheduled production and maintains chemical raw material storage in a neat and orderly fashion.
Education and Experience:
- HS Diploma/GED required.
- 2-6 months chemical mixing/compounding experience preferred.
- Forklift certification or ability to become certified within first 30 days.

- Capacity to understand and eventually make pH and viscosity adjustments

- Flexibility to work overtime and/or adjusted shifts when production demands
2nd Shift is 2:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. Monday-Thursday
2nd shift employees receive a $2/hour differential
