We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineering Intern to join our team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity for a college student pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Process, or Manufacturing Engineering to gain hands-on experience in the manufacturing sector. The intern will assist in creating engineering drawings, documenting processes, and supporting equipment maintenance efforts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Assist in the development and modification of engineering drawings for manufacturing equipment and processes.
- Support the documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process workflows.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to identify areas for process improvement.
- Participate in equipment inspections and maintenance scheduling.
- Conduct research and gather data to support engineering projects and initiatives.
- Support the implementation of safety and efficiency measures in the workplace.
- Work alongside cross-functional teams to support engineering and productivity initiatives and participate in project meetings.
Education and/or Experience
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Process, or Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
- Familiarity with engineering drawing software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage time efficiently.
