Continental Properties, L.L.C. is proud to introduce a brand-new luxury apartment community in the heart of West Hartford, CT. Currently under construction, this exciting new property will offer modern, high-end living with exceptional amenities, and we are looking for a dedicated and experienced Community Manager to help bring this vision to life.
Position Overview:
As the Community Manager for our brand-new luxury apartment community, you will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the property and ensuring a seamless transition from construction to resident occupancy. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming and upscale living experience for all residents, managing all aspects of property operations, and ensuring the community is fully leased and well-maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of daily property management, including leasing, resident relations, and maintenance coordination.
- Work closely with the development and construction teams to ensure a smooth transition as the property moves from construction to resident occupancy.
- Lead the leasing team in promoting the property and securing tenants for the brand-new community.
- Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to attract new residents and increase awareness of the community.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with residents by providing excellent customer service and creating a sense of community.
- Address resident concerns, requests, and issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure the property is maintained to the highest standards, including common areas, amenities, and apartment homes.
- Manage budgeting, financial reporting, and monthly rent collections to ensure the property is financially successful.
- Foster a positive and inclusive community environment through regular events and communication.
- Collaborate with the regional property management team to implement best practices and meet company goals.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in property management, preferably in luxury apartment communities.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of leasing, marketing, and resident retention strategies.
- Proficient in property management software and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Previous experience in managing a newly developed property or a property in transition is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
