We are seeking an Electrical Engineer Intern to join our team and contribute to the development of Industry 4.0 systems that support preventative and predictive maintenance. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to expand your skills in software development using Grafana and Node Red, and gain hands-on experience with robotics programming and edge devices.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in electrical engineering and be able to work effectively in a team environment. You will be responsible for developing a working knowledge of our industrial processes, including blow molding, injection molding and plastics welding, and implementing industrial controls such as machine vision and 3D position/presence sensors.

Key Responsibilities:
- Use and expand Industry 4.0 system to support preventative and predictive maintenance
- Develop software in Grafana and Node Red
- Gather product data using machine vision and other sensing systems
- Facilitate robotics control using sensing systems
- Develop a working knowledge of industrial processes such as blow molding, injection molding and plastics welding
- Implement industrial controls such as machine vision and 3D position/presence sensors
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a US accredited degree program pursuing a degree in Engineering or equivalent
- Must have and maintain a minimum GPA of a 2.8 or higher
- Able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week during normal business hours (Monday-Friday)
- Able to come on site to our Somersworth, NH location during worked hours
- Minimum sophomore standing or higher
- Experience with computer or industrial device programming and dashboard creation using applications such as Grafana
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Powerpoint, etc)
- Basic math skills
