THE POSITION

PIV Final Finish Set-Up Tech

Setup adjust Final Finish equipment to include, but not limited to, TUO, Micro-poise, Balance Grinders, Conicity Grinders, SOL, Geometry, Gantry controls, etc.

• Setup, detect, and adjust and correct equipment using electrical, mechanical and pneumatic knowledge, of TUO, bouncers, sheet of light and geometry.
• Make all necessary setups and adjustments following company standards.
• Observe and make necessary machinery adjustments to assure continuous operations. Supervise the first tire / tires run following a setup or adjustments and approve for production.
• React quickly to equipment downtime or other extraordinary condition, and must notify supervision whenever such conditions occur.
• Responsible for ensuring correct entry and recording of their labor time.
• Perform all work indicated, required, or assigned by supervision related to high machine efficiency and high quality production.
• Follow standard practices and instructions with a high degree of accuracy.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Supervisor or Department Manager.
• Ensure all ESH procedures, policies and legal requirements are implemented and monitored.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications :

High School Diploma / GED and 1 year Continental Manufacturing experience or 2 years mechanical experience.

Preferred Qualifications :

Previous manufacturing experience or Associates Degree
