Janitor

Job Description

• Perform cleaning of facility and warehouse, offices, lobbies, break rooms, meeting rooms, 1st Aid Room including desks, tables, mirrors, windows, doors and partitions and ventilation covers.
• Vacuums, mops and sweeps floors and aisle way in designated areas.
• Empties trash containers and recycling containers and disposes appropriate waste containers for removal from facility and warehouse by waste removal company.
• Mops floors, cleans sinks, toilets, urinals and mirrors in restrooms, fills paper towel, soap, toilet paper and sanitary napkin dispensers in facility and warehouse restrooms.
• Cleans overhead mirrors using platform left as needed..
• Maintain adequate janitorial supplies, clean and maintain Janitor supply store room.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Area Manager.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS :

Able to read, write, add, subtract, multiply and divide in order to follow cleaning material instructions and mix cleaning solutions when required.

Completes work orders necessary for maintenance. Comprehend Safety Rules, Work Instructions, Powered Scrubber Operation, Forklift Operation and Material Safety Data Sheets and performs work using safe work habits.

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• This role is an internal only position, external applicants will not be considered for this role.
• Candidate must meet the required qualifications for the role including Collectively Bargained language that is applicable
• High school Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
