Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Production Operator to join our team at our Halstead, KS location. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating machines, reporting problems or issues, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate machines safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Report any problems or issues to your Department Head or Supervisor promptly, using the proper channels and methods of communication.
- Complete daily production reporting accurately, including reports on productivity, quality control holds, material usage, and material movements.
- Follow all corporate and internal policies and procedures, seeking clarification when needed.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of ourselves, our department, and our company as a whole, through training and process optimization.
Requirements
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to read and follow instructions and checklists written in Standard English.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- 1 year of manufacturing or production experience preferred.
- Licence to work in the U.S. required.
