WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Create and manage strong relationships with healthcare and life science clients and maintain the highest standard of customer satisfaction.
- Create a cadence of communication to stay top of mind to assigned accounts/projects.
- Identify, develop, and grow consultative relationships with key contacts for assigned accounts.
- Track customer satisfaction in weekly department meeting.
- Attend and assist with Annual Business reviews for specified clients.
- Develop and maintain a market presence with key influencers in the healthcare and life science space through keeping up with market trends and regularly attending market-based events.
- For projects that require design, work with design team to provide product solutions and specifications for budget development. Lead team on final deliverable and present to client.
- For projects where a designer is not involved (ancillary projects), present and specify ancillary product solutions and create deliverables in Power Point, Scout etc.
- Track, analyze, and report results regarding sales activity and accurate monthly sales forecasts within assigned accounts.
- Assume responsibility for growing existing accounts.
- Identify gaps in product and service for assigned accounts.
- Find ways to increase gross profit for existing customers.
- Act as main point of contact for day-to-day business.
- Strategize with sales executive on how to create growth.
- Conduct weekly touchpoints with dormant and existing accounts.
- Monitor organizational changes or realignments that may affect future purchasing behavior or decision-making within assigned accounts.
- Understand the marketplace and market segments. Maintain an awareness of the company’s competitors within key existing accounts.
- Maintain a current working knowledge of developments in the contract furniture industry and related products, applications, and design concepts.
- Drive revenue growth by managing client accounts to achieve targeted gross profit margins, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and maintaining a focus on delivering value to clients.
WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Business, or a related field
- 3-5 years of healthcare sales experience
- 1-3 years of experience in account management, sales, design, or project management in commercial office furniture or a related industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and willingness to learn other systems and programs.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a well-defined business process.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and tasks, set priorities, allocate time, and adapt quickly to changing circumstances.
- A resilient mindset to navigate potential changes with tight turnaround times.
- Ability to be a resourceful problem solver: able to quickly clarify the nature of a challenge, evaluate alternatives and propose solutions.
- Skills in professional communication and a willingness to grow and invest in strong relationships with customers and team members.
- Willingness to attend networking events, out of state industry trainings, and customer events.
- Ability to travel to customer sites as needed.
- Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop. The employee may occasionally lift and /or move up to 30 pounds. This position may require travel between offices, jobsites, and/or client locations, which may involve extended periods of sitting or standing, lifting light luggage, and adapting to different time zones.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Compensation is comprised of a base salary plus commissions. On target earnings in this role ranges from $65,000 to $115,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's experience, skills, qualifications, and location, as well as internal equity and market considerations.
