Role Overview
- Lead all aspects of lab safety, maintenance, equipment installation and compliance.
- Establish quality assurance programs, technical reports, scientific projects and shipments.
- Assist with budget preparation and fiscal requirements.
- Lead funds and negotiate with vendors.
- Place orders and advise on funding opportunities.
- Expertise in hematopoietic stem cell, embryonic stem cell, murine hematopoietic leukemia, and RNA-related assays is preferred.
- Knowledge of federal regulations governing and Good Laboratory Practices.
- Ability to project future needs and formulate strategies consistent with projections.
- Experience in grant proposal preparation and advising on funding opportunities.
- Experience in laboratory operations and financial management.
- Quality assurance and equipment maintenance.
- Technical report preparation and analysis.
- Strong analytical and strategic planning skills.
- Location: 417 E. 68th Street, NYC
- Schedule: Monday - Friday ONSITE
- Reporting to: Dr. Michael Kharas
