JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:
The hospice Clinical Education Liaison is an ambitious and energetic individual that acts as the face of the Company while being dedicated to the creation of medically related and hospice specific educational trainings while implementing of an effective sales strategy. The Clinical Education Liaison expands the clientele and community relationships by providing educational inservices and forging strong relationships with surrounding facilities and community partners. The perfect candidate for this position will have an active Registered Nursing (RN) license in the state of Washington and have an extensive understanding of hospice, and living with and caring for those with life-limiting illnesses.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop educational inservices focused on quality hospice care, customer service in the medical setting, living with life-limiting illnesses, and caring for those with said illnesses.
- Conduct research to identify markets and needs in surrounding communities, along with opportunities to expand serviceable territory.
- Arrange business meetings and community events that would provide educational growth and understanding of hospice within surrounding facilities and communities.
- Promote and represent the hospice program to physicians, physician groups, discharge planners, community health organizations, and other referral sources that would benefit program growth.
- Build long term relationships with new and existing referral sources.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Washington.
- Active CPR certification.
- Proven working experience as a business development manager, hospice management, or other relevant role.
- Proficiency in Google Suite applications preferred. An ability to use and evaluate market reporting to develop growth strategies.
- Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, time management, and planning skills.
- Must have a great ability to develop rapport, while educating others about hospice benefits and offerings.
- Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state/or organization requirements and is in good working order.
Salary : $74,500 - $99,600
