Clinical Education and Training Specialist
Kinwell is seeking a Clinical Education and Training Specialist to join our team. As a Clinical Education and Training Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing training programs for new Medical Assistants and Patient Care Coordinators.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement training programs for new Medical Assistants and Patient Care Coordinators
- Collaborate with clinic management to identify educational needs and develop curriculum
- Teach courses on medical equipment and roles and responsibilities as a valuable member of the clinical team
- Promote critical thinking and commitment to professional development and lifelong learning
- Conduct competency assessments to ensure skill knowledge and abilities within 30 days of hire
Requirements:
- Associate degree or graduate of accredited Medical Assistant program
- Washington State Medical Assistant Certified certification
- 5-7 years medical assisting experience in a clinical setting
- Current BLS certification from American Heart Association or Military Training Network
