Job Title: Direct Support Professional Hybrid, DSP - 1 & DSP - 2 (DSP 2 must be med certified and able to pass meds)
Status: Hourly: Full Time, Part Time, & Per Diem available for 1st, 2nd and 3rds shifts
Department: Developmental Disabilities Services
Scope of Service: The Direct Support Professional is responsible for a variety of duties related to the overall care of individuals with Intellectual Disabilities, enabling each person to live a valued and meaningful life. Support and care shall be delivered in the most respectful and dignified manner. The DSP assists each individual to live in a home of their own, develop and support reciprocal relationships, and become part of their community. The DSP supports individuals to learn and enhance activities of daily living, fosters involvement in social and community activities and supports personal care needs as required. QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree preferred with minimum of one years’ experience, working in a related human services field. High School Diploma or equivalent considered with a minimum of three years’ experience working in the field.
- Valid Connecticut Driver’s license with clean driving record is required.
- Certification as a Direct Support Professional preferred
- Completion of certifications of CPR & First Aid, PMT, and all others required through DDS and CoC.
- Computer skills required to navigate agency electronic record, access email, and complete documentation.
- Available to work evenings, weekends, and overnights as required.

Beaumont: Lebanon, CT
- PT 8 hrs Saturday 3pm -11pm
- PT 10 hrs Tuesday 10pm - 8am
- PT 16 hours, Saturday/Sunday 2PM-10PM
- PT 20 hours, Monday 10PM-8AM and Thursday-Saturday 10:30PM-8:30AM
- PT 16 hours, Saturday/Sunday 7AM-3PM
- PT 16 hours, Saturday/Sunday 7AM-3PM
- PT 20 hours, Monday – Friday 6AM-10AM
Direct Support Professional Hybrid-*DSP Baltic position requires the employee to safely and accurately handle, assist, and document the self-administration of medication. Employees are trained by licensed medical professionals to demonstrate competency with medication assistance. DSP- Hybrid is responsible for a variety of duties related to the overall care of individuals with Intellectual and Mental Health Disabilities.
Baltic - Sprague: Baltic, CT
Payrate: $19.55 - DSP- Baltic (hybrid)
- PT 16 hours Thurs/Monday 11pm- 7pm
- PT 32 hrs Friday - Monday 3pm - 11pm
- PT 16 hours Friday/ Saturday 10AM-6PM
