Our client is looking for a results-driven and strategic Sales Executive to join our team. This role is ideal for a high-performing, independently motivated sales professional who thrives in consultative, solution-based selling, understands the nuances of B2B SaaS and digital transformation, and is passionate about driving revenue. Position Overview


As the Sales Executive, the primary focus of your role will be to target and build relationships with late-stage B2B SaaS or mid-market companies, and enterprise level corporate customers to promote our various offerings. This is an exciting opportunity to grow your own book of business, and we’re looking for someone who is energized by this challenge. You will be responsible for pursuing marketing-qualified leads, driving them through the sales process, and closing deals before transitioning them to the implementation team. This position will report to the Executive Director who leads enterprise revenue strategy as well as operations and fulfillment. This is a salaried role, with the opportunity to earn uncapped commission based on individual performance. While the corporate office is in downtown Houston, we are flexible on location for the best candidate. Occasional travel may be required for this role to close deals and cultivate client relationships.


Key Responsibilities


  • Build and develop long-lasting relationships with qualified B2B SaaS and enterprise executives across various industries
  • Maintain partnership with internal team to develop solid business acumen surrounding product offerings and internal sales opportunities
  • Establish meaningful relationships with existing clients to evaluate expansion opportunities
  • Run prospects through entire sales process from MQL to Won
  • Create and deliver proposals and negotiate contracts
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets, on both a monthly and quarterly basis, consistently meeting KPIs
  • Generate sales reports to track performance, identify trends, and measure progress towards goals


Qualifications


  • 8 years of proven and seasoned sales success in the software services industry with prior or related sales experience
  • Hunter-mentality competitiveness, with a passion for growing a portfolio and chasing new business opportunities
  • Consultative sales approach with experience selling to C-Suite or executive leadership
  • Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills, including highly effective oral and written communication skills, group and individual presentation, persuasion, and customer service skills
  • Passion for customer service, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and ability to understand complex business problems that can be solved by implementing innovative digital solutions
  • Autonomous and goal-motivated


Preferred


  • Experience in selling technology services to mid-market or enterprise clients
  • Familiarity with the software development or B2B SaaS industry
  • Working knowledge of HubSpot and/or Asana
  • Well-connected with existing relationships in the corporate tech services market
