Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Edit programs on CNC machines, including setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches.
- Assist in setting up CNC machines by installing and adjusting chucks, tools, attachments, and other components.
- Verify machine settings by measuring positions and sample workpieces, ensuring adherence to international standards.
- Maintain specifications by observing and troubleshooting drilling, grooving, cutting, and turning operations.
- Ensure safe operations by following safety procedures and regulations.
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot malfunctions as needed.
- Maintain communication and documentation of work activities and machine performance.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements through participation in educational opportunities and technical publications.
- Contribute to organizational goals by taking ownership of tasks and seeking opportunities for process improvement.
- Strong conceptual skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to improve processes and effectively communicate verbally.
- Proficiency in functional and technical skills related to CNC machining.
- Familiarity with controls and instrumentation.
- Experience in supply management, tooling, and inventory control.
- Ability to coordinate tasks and exercise good judgment in decision-making.
