Total Security Solutions is a leading provider of Bullet Resistant Barriers committed to delivering high-quality ballistic barrier solutions to our clients. We are seeking a skilled Laser CNC and Press Brake Machinist to join our dynamic team and contribute to our ongoing success.
The Laser and Press Brake CNC Machinist will be responsible for setting up, programming, operating, and maintaining CNC laser cutting machines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Will be responsible for running multiple machines based on production demands including Bridgeport, clausing, punch press, break press and CNC Laser equipment.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machine settings and adjustments.
- Program CNC machines using appropriate software to ensure accurate cutting and shaping of materials.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Comply with company policies and industry regulations to ensure proper handling and disposal of materials.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to implement best practices and innovative solutions.
Competencies:
- Must have Solidworks experience with understanding of CAD 2D
- Sheet metal fabrication and forming experience
- Experience nesting sheet metal, TruTops Boost Software experience preferred (Trumpf Laser nesting software)
- CNC machining/programming experience, MasterCAM Software experience preferred
- Basic math skills and ability to read measurements
- Excellent interpersonal, time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented and able to focus on multiple tasks at one time
- Comfortable with technology and willing to learn new systems
Required Qualifications:
