Overview
The Vice President, Operation (Region) is a full-time executive position based in (Region). Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational activities of the region. This role includes developing and implementing operational strategies, managing a large team of managers and staff, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and achieving financial and operational goals. The VP OF (Region) will work closely with other executive Team Members to drive growth, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively lead other account managers. This position “owns” the communication and workflow of materials consistent with a safe working environment. They are seen as the “go-to” for establishing efficient protocols using strong problem-solving skills; this, in turn, may require training so that others comply to expectations.
Job Skills / Requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the operations team;
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures;
- Oversee recruitment, training, and development of operational staff;
- Mentor account managers to poster a positive and productive work environment;
- Analyze financial reports and KPI’s to track performance;
- Implement cost-control; measures and identify areas for financial improvement;
- Ensure profitability and sustainability of the region;
- Maintain and enhance relationship with key clients;
- Address client concerns and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction;
- Develop strategies for client retention and business growth
- Oversee contract negotiations and renewals;
- Ensure all operations comply with health and safety regulations;
- Implement safety training programs in partnership with Director of Safety;
- Contribute to the development of company’s overall strategic plan
- Identify opportunities for operational improvements and innovation;
- Lead initiatives to expand the company’s market presence;
- Abide and follow all HR best practices, policies and procedures;
- Hold account managers accountable to maintain accurate timekeeping records;
- Address disciplinary issues and hold account managers accountable;
- Participate in any required meetings

- Bachelor’s degree required;
- Excellent organizational skills required;
- Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management;
- Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to develop and implement effective operational strategies;
- Proven track record of managing large teams and multi-site operations
- 7-10 years of experience in operations management
- Must possess a California Driver’s License with a driving record acceptable to company risk management and its insurance underwriters
