At CGN, we help design-build contractors generate high-quality leads online, just like they would through word-of-mouth referrals. Our mission is to build confidence for our clients by helping them attract the right homeowners and grow their businesses with marketing that delivers real results.
As an Account Executive (AE), you’ll play a key role in closing inbound leads, developing strategic industry relationships, and proactively identifying new opportunities. You’ll lead potential clients through a consultative sales process, diagnose their challenges, and present solutions that position CGN as the go-to growth partner for contractors.
This is not an entry-level sales role. We’re looking for someone with B2B sales experience who thrives in a fast-moving, high-performance environment and is ready to take ownership of their success.
What You’ll Do (Your Responsibilities)
- Manage & Convert Inbound Leads – Engage with contractors who inquire about our services and help them navigate the decision-making process.
- Conduct High-Impact Sales Calls – Diagnose their marketing challenges, create urgency, and present tailored solutions.
- Build & Maintain Key Industry Relationships – Leverage CGN’s trusted partnerships and referral network to generate warm opportunities.
- Proactively Identify & Develop New Business – While we have inbound leads, AEs are expected to step up, identify gaps, and drive additional opportunities through networking, referrals, and industry engagement.
- Leverage CGN’s Content Library – Use case studies, videos, and podcasts to nurture prospects, reinforce CGN’s authority, and guide leads through the sales process.
- Own Your Sales Pipeline – Maintain and update HubSpot daily to track opportunities, conversations, and follow-ups.
- Follow a Consultative Sales Process – Leverage The Challenger Sale methodology to help prospects make informed, confident decisions.
- Close Business & Drive Revenue – You’re responsible for helping clients make smart, ROI-driven marketing investments and positioning CGN as their long-term growth partner.
